As a Salesforce and Applications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning and optimization of various business applications within our organization. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting the implementation of software applications that cater to the diverse needs of our business operations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and effective communication to collaborate with different teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Configuration and Customization: Customize and configure software applications to align with business requirements and processes, utilizing available tools and functionalities.
- Implementation Support: Assist in the implementation of new applications or upgrades, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption.
- User Training and Support: Provide training sessions and user support to ensure effective utilization of business applications across the organization, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
- Data Management: Oversee data integrity and security within applications, implementing best practices for data governance, access controls, and compliance with relevant regulations
- System Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate business applications with other systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides, and generate reports on application performance and usage metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business application management, and identify opportunities for process optimization and enhancement.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience (3 years) in Salesforce: Sales, Service and CPQ.
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing business applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, BI tools)
- Proficiency in designing, configuring and customizing billing systems as – NetSuite, Zuora, Oracle, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in conducting user training sessions and providing technical support to end-users.
- Knowledge of data management principles, system integration methodologies, and ITIL practices is preferred.
- Certifications in relevant technologies or project management (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.
