Coro started in Tel-Aviv, Israel and is also headquartered in Chicago, IL. As a global organization, Coro gives you the ability to work with people and teammates from across the world.
In your role as a member of the Backend team, you will need to play a key role in the availability, security, and scalability of our platform, delivering our product roadmap and plan for the future. We don’t divide responsibility for the development and operation of our platform, so you and your team will support the changes you make all the way through to operating successfully in production.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and track progress towards the broader goals of the team, and transparently communicate that progress to the team and Technology Managers.
- Foster continuous improvement by proposing and implementing new processes, designs, and engineering practices that enhance the team's effectiveness.
- Contribute to defining product features, including participation in workshops with other product development teams.
- Assume responsibility for ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing functionality of changes in production
Skills and Experience
- 3 years of experience in server-side development using Java.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- Experience working with Java Spring.
- Proficient in overcoming scalability and performance challenges.
- Familiarity with Redis and RabbitMQ
- Possesses a deep understanding of multi-threaded programming.
- Contribution to open-source projects is a plus.
- Demonstrates a proactive and adaptable nature.
- Fluent in written and verbal English.
