About Us and the Role

We are looking for a talented, passionate, and motivated VP of Direct Sales to run Coro’s global direct sales teams. We recently wrapped up our Series C funding where we secured $100M in funding for our Cybersecurity Software Solutions. This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced sales leader who can combine passion with purpose to drive growth. 

 

Our solutions are built for the mid-market and thus experiencing dramatic growth! Coro started in Tel-Aviv, Israel and is also headquartered in Chicago, IL where a majority of our Sales team is ready to help companies find the best solutions for them. Most of the current sales team is fully onsite in Chicago and is excited for a leader who will be by their side. As a global organization, Coro gives you the ability to work with people and teammates from across the world.

Responsibilities

  •  Build, implement, and develop a high-velocity sales machine, including defining and setting suitable KPIs and targets, as well as building a thriving team with a great culture centered around openness, transparency, and communication 
  • Build and manage a strong sales team responsive to the needs of the customers and drive the organization’s top-line and bottom-line growth 
  • Oversee a direct sales team consisting of Account Executives and Sales Directors as we continue to expand headcount 
  • Manage 6 Sales Directors and partner closely with our Sr. VP of Alternate Channels 
  • Deliver a successful growth strategy, enabling the sales team and the business unit to win new profitable business. Develop and maintain short-term and long-term sales plans 
  • Occasional domestic and international travel required 

Skills and Experience

  • Have strong leadership and coaching skills, a lead-by-doing mentality, and understand that the job is about making sure that your colleagues flourish in their roles 
  • Are a highly structured, organized, and data-driven person, eager to test hypotheses about which strategies and tactics will enable you to achieve your goals 
  • Minimum of 10 years in a progressively advancing sales role 
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, managing sales leaders 
  • Cyber-security industry or SaaS/platform sales background strongly preferred 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

What to Expect in the Interview Process:

  • Phone Screen-30 minutes with our Recruiting Team 
  • Virtual Interview-45/60 minutes with Hiring Manager, Chief Revenue Officer 
  • In-Person Panel Interview-60 minutes with Sales Directors  
  • In-Person or Virtual Interview-45 minutes with the People Team 
  • In-Person or Virtual Final Interview with an Executive
