About Us and the Role

This newly created position, SMB Account Executive Team Lead, will pave the way towards an exciting new segment and focus for the Coro Direct Sales team. As the SMB AE Team Lead, you will lead the first designated SMB AEs towards success through high-volume, high-velocity sales engagements with businesses <50 employees.  

This is a player-coach role, with a portion of your time dedicated to prospecting and closing deals, while also mentoring and coaching a new team of 4-5 SMB AEs. This role reports directly to the VP of Direct Sales. 

Responsibilities

  • New business development and full-cycle sales in the SMB <50 employee segment, including prospecting, demos, trials, negotiations, and contracting 
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of SMB Account Executives 
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to develop and refine the SMB sales process 

Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 1-2 years in B2B sales, preferably developing new business and full-cycle sales required 
  • A minimum of one year management experience is desirable 
  • High level of sales acumen and natural leadership ability 
  • Experience in mentorship and comfortable with providing your team with direct feedback and coaching 
  • Experience in high-volume, transactional sales is preferred 
  • Data-driven, process-oriented and organized, you will thrive in this fast-paced role 

Salary Range

  • Base Compensation- $68,000-75,000 
  • Quota- TBD
